Agathosma ovata (False Buchu)

A compact, low growing evergreen shrub from Africa. From late autumn to spring it is smothered by clusters of pink star shaped flowers, which attract bees and other insects. A member of the Rutaceae family, the leaves have essential oils that deter pests. Has been used for traditional medicine.
