It is very floriferous, is happy in sun or shade, and is one of the best varieties for windy or coastal gardens. It produces stunning autumn colours and is a very good cut flower. Forms an excellent hedge.

Ayesha is a totally unique hydrangea. The mophead flowers are very similar in appearance to a lilac, having cup-shaped individual florets. The large heads are either soft shell pink or light lilac blue depending on soil pH. It is lightly scented, very free-flowering and good for picking. Sun, wind and coastal tolerant.
