Arthur Billard is a fantastic red mophead; one of the earliest to flower. It is one of the few macrophylla varieties to have autumn coloured foliage with leaves turning tones of red & yellow . It is a lovely compact plant ideal for growing in a pot or tub. An old variety – how this has been ignored for decades is a mystery.

One of the best pink mopheads. It has lovely round balls of vibrant pink flowers in lime soils. If planted in acid soils the flowers are a lovely mauve colour. Colonel Durham is a variety from our series of Grandma’s Hydrangea’s – a range of charming old Grandma Hydrangeas that were forgotten and nearly lost to cultivation.

A great dwarf variety, perfect for a pot or at the front of a border. Elbe has large pale blue mophead flowers in acid soils or pale pink if planted in a pot or in lime soil.
