Hydrangea macrophylla Colonel Durham **

One of the best pink mopheads. Smokey blue mopheads in acid soils or salmon pink in alkaline soils. Looks fabulous in a shady spot under trees. Very free flowering and popular for cut flower. Lovely autumn tones – flowers antique red-wine tones. Colonel Durham is a variety from our series of Grandma’s Hydrangea’s – a range of charming old Grandma Hydrangeas that were forgotten and nearly lost to cultivation.
