The handsome foliage is the real feature with this one, with large (up to 40cm across) fan-shaped leaves, slender fingers and coppery undersides. It is a caned-stemmed begonia and can reach heights of 2 – 3 metres (though can be pruned to smaller size), creating a palm-like effect. Yellow-white flower clusters appear in spring. Prefers a warm, frost free situation with bright light. Will grow indoors.
