Fairy Blush is a local Taranaki variety, selected and named by Mark Jury. It forms a beautiful shrub covered with masses of tiny pink buds in early winter, which open to small white flowers with a flush of pink. The flowers continue opening in succession over a long period through winter and early spring. It prefers shelter from strong wind. A great hedge plant.
